--- Comment #17 from Ernesto RD
It should be already available. Give it a try.
did a fresh install of opensuse 11.4, applied all updates, and installed alsa-drivers-kmp-desktop. I still had a couple of warnings while installing alsa-drivers-kmp-desktop (attaching console output). After i installed and rebooted, The audio works perfectly now AS LONG as i disable pulse audio in yast. If i leave pulseaudio enabled, i dont get sound from my subwoofer, volume controls dont work as expected (some do nothing, some change all sound instead of a special channel). However, after i disabled pulseaudio, everything works perfectly. But i have no volume control on my notification area. To control individual channels i have to go to yast->sound->volume... And of course i can use the volume control on a per application bases, to configure overall volume. I wonder if this problem with pulseaudio is a diferent bug/issue? I hate pulseaudio anyway hehe :) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
