--- Comment #6 from franz fuder 2011-01-15 15:56:13 UTC ---
The problem starts when I tried to switch from ath5 to ath9. The reason why I
want the 9 is more speed. After I changed the module the problem starts. The
card only works when I restart the card via yast and then the card works proper
with full speed.
I do not understand a lot of the module start up things. However it looks a bit
strange to me both module are in use ? I guess the module ath9 starts up the
card and then the ath5 is used ?
Below are the output that you asked.
Regards
Franz
I checked the module:
inux-nm5w:/home # lsmod | grep ath
ath5k 147966 0
ath9k 87466 0
ath9k_common 3581 1 ath9k
mac80211 290644 3 ath5k,ath9k,ath9k_common
ath9k_hw 250124 2 ath9k,ath9k_common
ath 11135 3 ath5k,ath9k,ath9k_hw
cfg80211 182851 5 ath5k,ath9k,ath9k_common,mac80211,ath
The wifi card is:
