https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651996 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651996#c0 Summary: Printer applet is annoying on disconnected printer Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- The printer applet is annoying me ;-) I have a printer attached to my server and use that from my laptop over a network connection. When I print something while my server is switched off, it is queued on the laptop. Basically that's a good feature. Unfortunately the printer applet displays a warning message about _every two minutes_ saying "The printer 'lp' is possibly not connected.". Hey, I know this ;-) - but I don't want/need a reminder that spams my screen every two minutes. One message after starting a print job would be more than enough. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
