--- Comment #12 from Hartmut Braun 2010-10-05 19:05:39 UTC ---
To be a bit more exact:
There seem to be 2 effects.
I read some user comments, that speak only of this warning and after the
warning the system DOES boot.
In my case, the warning appears in the beginning of the installation progress
as described already. At the end of the installation progress a message
appears, that warns again and suggests to rectify the boot configuration files
with a button to jump to the file editor.
But the entries there seem to be correct. Even when I change something there,
this message keeps coming.
If I choose to skip the "correction" then the said effect of boot fail arises.
So, if ONLY the warning in the beginning appears, there seems to be a chance of
booting, if in the end of the installation the second message appears, then you
are lost.
I must admit, I am a little bit fed up with openSUSE now. I gave up and
installed Linux Mint - by the way, also above 128 GB (but I understand, it uses
GRUB 2 instead).
