http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617716 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617716#c0 Summary: Kaffeine crashes when playing VCDO VCDs Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: p.bhat@gramtechnet.co.in QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.4; Linux) KHTML/4.4.4 (like Gecko) SUSE Xine has two options for VCDs, VCDO, VCD. If VCDO type of VCD is attempted to be played with the option VCD, xine crashes.Kaffeine has only one option in the UI.So,I guess it has to work out itself the type of VCD in the drive.I do not know if it has such code. If a VCDO is played with kaffeine, it just crashes. It has been so for several years and a bugreport from me exists on the subject. I am surprised this buggy application is the default media player of choice in Opensuse.VLC or mplayer based applications at this time seem to be a better choice. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.insert a VCDO type VCD 2.play it in kaffeine. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
