There is a bug reported by me to KDE bugzilla. Please see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232790 But, till date I have had no response / query from developers, assignees there. When Kaffeine crashes against VCDO, I have seen varying behaviour from the application over time.The last I saw was where kaffeine continued to run, but reported that it crashed. In that instance, it does not leave any trace. As the response from developers is slow and I move from old version to new version of OS, some of the statements in the bug report become no more valid.
