I'm able to mount the device via hal (by way of KDE4) but for some reason only
the top folder shows up, and it is empty.
The kernel is 2.6.31.5-0.1-default

I reformatted (using mkfs.vfat, even), took a picture, and plugged it back in.
The directory is totally corrupted.
I suppose it could be some wonky firmware on the camera, producing some vfat
variant that openSUSE 11.1 could read that 11.2 reads as garbage.
