The call stack for this code is
setCpuid (image.py)
xc.domain_set_policy_cpuid -> mapped to pyxc_dom_set_policy_cpuid (xc.c)
xc_cpuid_apply_policy (xc_cpuid_x86.c)
xc_cpuid_do_domctl (xc_cpuid_x86.c)
arch_do_domctl (domctl.c)
Initially, I added debug print statements in xc_cpuid_apply_policy thinking to
catch a failure there. However, it returned success even though the python
exception was still thrown later.
Adding print statements in pyxc_dom_set_policy_cpuid also showed successful
returns but had the side effect of no longer seeing the python exception.
I wonder if the Py_INCREF(zero) call in this function is doing something wrong?
