In the installation i selected the bootloader to be installed into the root
partition. After the install the bootloader is not installed into the root
partition, instead it was written into the disks MBR and overwrote the existing
Tried it again with a seperate boot-partition and selected the bootloader to be
installed in the bootpartition, but again the MBR was overwritten.

My partiton layout:

ws01:/home/oliver # fdisk -l

Platte /dev/sda: 500.1 GByte, 500107862016 Byte
255 Köpfe, 63 Sektoren/Spuren, 60801 Zylinder

Disk identifier: 0xd0c52c97

Gerät boot. Anfang Ende Blöcke Id System
/dev/sda1 1 13 102400 7 HPFS/NTFS
Partition 1 endet nicht an einer Zylindergrenze.

/dev/sda6 46170 57917 94365778+ 83 Linux

Additionally after the install i cannot restore the old bootloader with YaST's
bootloader module.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install openSUSE parallel to a existing windows, both on the same disk
2. Restart the machine

Actual Results:
After the install and a reboot the first thing i see is GRUB starting up.

Expected Results:
After the reboot windows should boot up because the windows bootloader should
not have been manipulated in any way.
