Hmm all this is strange. Can you do the following:
1) create a directory for example /tmp/myroot-read-write
2) run kiwi again and as soon as you can see that your process list
contains the mksquashfs process call:
cp -a -x /home/KIWI/myimage/myroot-read-write/* /tmp/myroot-read-write
We need to make some tests on the read-write data:
1) what does du -ks /tmp/myroot-read-write tell you ?
2) create a sparse file and a fs on it:
dd if=/dev/zero of=lala bs=1 seek=26214399 count=1
/sbin/mke2fs -i 16384 -O resize_inode -j -F lala
mount it:
mount -o loop lala /mnt
copy the data into it:
cp -a -x /tmp/myroot-read-write/* /mnt
if it fails count the files:
find | wc -l
also count the size
du -ks /mnt
It also would be great if I can login to your system after you
can provide the data in /tmp/myroot-read-write
there must be something strange
Thanks
