alsa-info.sh for dell-m4-2
Yes, but...
At the time of my initial bug report, I could _separately_ control the volume
for the built-in speakers and the external ones connected to the
docking-station! The "ImportMux"-sliders controlled the volume for the
docking-station line out. So the hardware is definitely capable of using both
at once with a separate volume setting!
Today, using dell-m4-2, alsamixer has much fewer sliders. In particular, I
cannot separately control the volume of the built-in speakers and the external
ones attached to the docking station any more (since ImportMux is missing). The
volume of both internal and external speakers is affected by "Master", "PCM"
and "Front".
Plugging headphones into the laptop's own line-out jack disables both the
internal speakers and the external ones.
I could not get any of the three microphones (built-in, laptop's jack, docking
station's jack) to work with either setting mic-jack to "Line In" nor "Mic In".
