To be sure, try alsa-driver-kmp on OBS multimedia:audio:KMP repository. This
contains the modules built from the very latest alsa-driver snapshot.
Choose openSUSE_11.1-Update if you are using the 11.1 update kernel.
openSUSE_11.1 is for the original (first version) kernel.
Please run alsa-info.sh with --no-upload option with alsa-driver-kmp, and
attach the generated file here.
I guess the docking line-out is working with dell-m4-2 is just a coincidence.
The driver doesn't map the the docking-line-out pin properly to a volume
control. Together with the automatic mic-selection via plugging, it's another
TODO item.
