Hi Stefan. Sorry, libwfb.so has been a little bit confusing. The intent from
NVIDIA was that the distributions' libwfb.so should be preferred, since that
one is presumably more recent and updated with the X server (e.g., would
include support for new rendering primitives, etc).
NVIDIA includes a copy of libwfb, named libnvidia-wfb.so, for use on older
distros whose X server is too old to provide its own libwfb.so. NVIDIA's
install tool creates a symlink from libwfb.so to libnvidia-wfb.so.$VERSION if
no libwfb.so already exists.
In most cases, it probably shouldn't matter which libwfb.so is used. But my
advice would be for SuSE to use the X server's libwfb.so, not NVIDIA's.
