Ok, I'd like to have the fix for the general kernel panic that went into
2.6.23.X...
Is it one of those?
2007-08-24 Mattia Dongili sony-laptop: call sonypi_compat_init earlier
2007-08-24 Mattia Dongili sony-laptop: enable Vaio FZ events
from here (puhh, ugly link. It's from git stable tree, I hope you see
something):

Something else: It looks like the resources (_CRS/_PRS/_SRS) are parsed by the
sony laptop module itself? I expect this could be done easier using the pnp
layer. Hmm, but I am not sure how this works if you have/want a pure acpi
driver attached to your PNPxy HID, do you need to register a pnp driver then
instead? Bjorn should know, hmm I won't CC him here, maybe this should be asked
on ACPI list with Bjorn CC'ed for broader audience...
