Oh, and java-1_4_2-gcj-compat doesn't build since the switch to gcc-4.3 because
of java problems:
gcj -C -d . -I . sun/rmi/rmic/Main.java
sun/rmi/rmic/Main.java:49: error: gnu.java.rmi.rmic cannot be resolved to a
type
gnu.java.rmi.rmic.RMIC r = new gnu.java.rmi.rmic.RMIC (args);
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
sun/rmi/rmic/Main.java:49: error: gnu.java.rmi.rmic cannot be resolved to a
type
gnu.java.rmi.rmic.RMIC r = new gnu.java.rmi.rmic.RMIC (args);
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
2 problems (2 errors)
make: *** [sun/rmi/rmic/Main.class] Error 1
but why do we build rmic when there is grmic? Why do we build anything
from a compat package?
