--- Comment #4 from Jarl Friis
There is nothing SUSE developers can do about this. If you are installing Skype by hand its clear you need also to manually install its dependencies. If you don't know how to install them manually, please use zypper or yast.
Easier said than done... I donwloaded the RPM, put it in /tmp/ tried "yast -i /tmp/skype-1.4.0.118-suse.i586.rpm", the console version of yast started, did some scanning of the RPM database, and then bailed out, no message at all... did a 'rpm -qa | grep -i skype' with no result. Then tried "zypper install /tmp/skype-1.4.0.118-suse.i586.rpm", but it claimed: "package '/tmp/skype-1.4.0.118-suse.i586.rpm' not found" do I miss something? I know it's off-topic, so I'll respect if you wont reply... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
