Yes, sure. In the thaw-hooks /etc/init.d/boot.videobios is called and, if
checkd after resume, the bios is patched indeed.
But I cannot blame i810 directly, as it might be, that the X system gets
restarted before the video bios is patched again -- I do not know enough about
the resume mechanism. IIRC I had in an earlier version -- pre 10.2 -- to start
855resolution somewhere early in the boot scripts, because the resume did not
include the hook for patching the video bios, and it worked differently.
Of course you are right, that this special problem with 915resolution and the
resume of the X server in limited to i810-systems, but isn't it possible, that
in the resume process som things come up in parallel? If you know, that it only
can be a i810 issue, then I am fine with the RESOLVED/DUPLICATE, but if it is a
general swsuspend-resume problem, then it should be a seperate bug.
