https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=285015 Summary: upgrade from 10.0 to 10.2 lost my changes to /etc/nmh/mts.conf Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: m.kupfer@acm.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=146676) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=146676) my mts.conf customizations I had made 2 changes to /etc/nmh/mts.conf on SuSE Linux 10.0. After upgrading to openSUSE 10.2 (nmh-1.1-220), those changes were gone from the file, and there was no copy of the file as I had it under 10.0. What I expected: that the upgrade would preserve my customizations, especially since the default mts.conf does not appear to have changed between 10.0 and 10.2. If that was impossible for some reason, it should have at least kept a copy of my mts.conf (under a different name). The customizations that I had made (in case it makes a difference) are attached. The upgrade was via the Internet, from mirrors.kernel.org. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
