This will occur exactly when you install the application by name. Despite the presence or absence of 'hardware devices' you do not expect to receive an error response telling you that directory/files are missing. The application does not even get to start to find anything due error response. If you look at the applications Dependence file when you install from software management the above dependent file are shown. Even IF you install the dependant files manually, the application errors out indicating missing directory/file. I cannot understand why you cannot see this on your own PC, as part of verifying the bug would indicate you have installed this application and can see exactly what I see - Its 100% re-producible. The same is true for this sister bug. Same error response. The issue is that the application, as installed, does NOT execute.
