Summary: Too many usb ports are assinged to usb modem
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Alpha 1
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: SuSE Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: clarkt@xxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx

In 10.2, I added the definitions for a qualcomm cdma/evdo express/34 modem to
airprime.c. The system assigned usb ports /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 to the
modem.

In 10.3A1, this modem is already defined in airprime.c. But, the system
assigns too may usb ports to the card. Ports /dev/ttyUSB0-/dev/ttyUSB2 are
assigned to the first port, /dev/ttyUSB3-/dev/ttyUSB5 are assigned to 2nd port.
