Hi guys.
I could solve the problem, by recompiling evolution-data-server using Suse's source RPM. The only thing I had to do was change the "--enable-gnome-keyring" from yes to no in the ./configure line, inside evolution-data-server.spec.
If you use the x86-64 version of Suse 10.2 and want to use my RPM, grab it from: www.thiagovinhas.org/evolution-data-server-1.8.2-5tv.x86_64.rpm
The problem is solved for me. I just can't imagine why Suse turned on the gnome-keyring feature, since there are a lot of KDE users using Evolution, and there's no much sense using gnome-keyring for this people.
Regards, Thiago Vinhas
I have the same problem with my x86 machine. I've tried all of the above solutions (none worked) but this one. I'm new to editing and changing source code and then recompiling it. Could you post a step-guide on how you resolved the keyring problem, please?
