Select ata_piix. After that, apply, finish, reboot and please report what the kernel says.
OK, I did it and the system booted. Which exact information do you need?
What the kernel says. ie. dmesg.
The 'Config Disk' device could be a Port Multiplier, I guess. If you've got some time give libata-tj-stable kernel a shot, it has PMP support. http://home-tj.org/wiki/index.php/Libata-tj-stable
Exactly, the fourth Intel SATA acts as a port multiplier.
Hah.. on board PMP, interesting.
The machine is needed by other people to do some real work during a few days. I cannot attach the result of dmesg. I have attached the boot.msg file. Please tell me if it is ok with you. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
