Hello,
As for the posters then may be this helpful - http://pknet.org.pl/data/files/blog/openSUSE_eng.pdf
Piotr nice work. Like the idea but on the end I dont know why u not use FifthLeg Font?
Well, I thought that they're clearer because there's a lot of text on the poster.
Take a look or the other posters. Use the green background from them and the black line on the bottom. So that it looks more familiar with that.
I cant import ur pdf in inkscape it crashes, I dont know what it is so that I cant show u what I mean.
and on the end I hope the photos are free ;)
It was originally in Polish and it was supposed to be printed, but the plan failed. So I made it in CMYK in Corel and Photoshop, so that the printing house wouldn't be moody. But I think that a couple of hours will be enough to remake it in Gimp. About photos - I got them from Novell (Polish one) for those posters. If there's a need I can ask for official statement that they agree to use it. I prepared a booklet of his time - but it is not translated. The brochure is made in Scribus. http://my.opera.com/dragonzone/blog/2009/05/16/broszura-opensuse .
I transleted them a few months ago fo miumiento from italy to to italian. Maybe weshould do the same with them in catalan.
A second thing I think we need posters for SUSE Studio, openFATE and some other things in the same style too.
