I'm afraid I cannot find the hint for uncommenting the line in the config file. I've found one topic in the opensuse mailing list archive, on

but that does not give the solution you suggest.
Neither does the one item in bugzilla I found:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=989713
or the link that is given in comment #2 in that bugreport:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/kernel/msg2268674.html
So I'm somewhat lost here. Can you give some more detail of where I should search? What I did:
1. Install bcm43xx-firmware package
2. Run /usr/sbin/install-brcmfmac
3. Delete "sdhci_iproc" from first line (add_drivers) in /etc/dracut.conf.d/raspberrypi_modules.conf
4. Uncomment last line (omit_drivers) in the same file
5. Run "mkinitrd -f"
6. Reboot
Not all steps are probably strictly necessary, e.g. install-brcmfmac seems to be run via /etc/modprobe.d/50-brcmfmac.conf when you try to load brcmfmac module.

Hi Michal, This works! No need for installing the package, since it is part of the initial image, but editing /etc/dracut.conf.d/raspberrypi_modules.conf etc. di the trick. Thanks!
