I'm afraid I cannot find the hint for uncommenting the line in the
config file. I've found one topic in the opensuse mailing list
archive, on

https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-arm/2016-03/msg00147.html

but that does not give the solution you suggest.

Neither does the one item in bugzilla I found:

https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=989713

or the link that is given in comment #2 in that bugreport:

http://www.spinics.net/lists/kernel/msg2268674.html

So I'm somewhat lost here. Can you give some more detail of where I
should search?
What I did:

1. Install bcm43xx-firmware package

2. Run /usr/sbin/install-brcmfmac

3. Delete "sdhci_iproc" from first line (add_drivers) in
/etc/dracut.conf.d/raspberrypi_modules.conf

4. Uncomment last line (omit_drivers) in the same file

5. Run "mkinitrd -f"

6. Reboot

Not all steps are probably strictly necessary, e.g. install-brcmfmac
seems to be run via /etc/modprobe.d/50-brcmfmac.conf when you try to
load brcmfmac module.

Hi Michal,

This works! No need for installing the package, since it is part of the initial
image, but editing

/etc/dracut.conf.d/raspberrypi_modules.conf etc. di the trick.

Thanks!
