Hello, Earlier this week I moved the pihwm package from :Contrib:RaspberryPi to hardware and cleaned it up a little: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/pihwm If the .a static library is needed for anything, please package it in a devel-static sub-package. If you want to get this submitted to Factory, please step up as maintainer and start the process: do an SR from hardware to openSUSE:Factory and write an email to opensuse-factory mailing list pointing to SR# and explaining the package (cf. raspberrypi-firmware). Why? This is a further step towards untangling generally useful userspace packages from interim downstream kernels. Effects? Current users of pihwm will need to add hardware's openSUSE_Factory_ARM repository for now; if submitted and accepted into Factory that will no longer be necessary. Users of openSUSE:Factory:ARM or other openSUSE kernels can drop the :Contrib:RaspberryPi repo.
