[opensuse-arm] pihwm package relocated
Hello, Earlier this week I moved the pihwm package from :Contrib:RaspberryPi to hardware and cleaned it up a little: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/pihwm If the .a static library is needed for anything, please package it in a devel-static sub-package. If you want to get this submitted to Factory, please step up as maintainer and start the process: do an SR from hardware to openSUSE:Factory and write an email to opensuse-factory mailing list pointing to SR# and explaining the package (cf. raspberrypi-firmware). Why? This is a further step towards untangling generally useful userspace packages from interim downstream kernels. Effects? Current users of pihwm will need to add hardware's openSUSE_Factory_ARM repository for now; if submitted and accepted into Factory that will no longer be necessary. Users of openSUSE:Factory:ARM or other openSUSE kernels can drop the :Contrib:RaspberryPi repo. Hi Andreas,

Just to understand this properly, you've moved the package from a project where all people who previously contributed to have access to the package to some other project where you're the only one having access.. could you please fix that?
Effects? Current users of pihwm will need to add hardware's openSUSE_Factory_ARM repository for now;
I've reverted that part to minimize impact for those who had used the package previously. Greetings, Dirk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

I had checked that Matwey was _not_ a maintainer of that package, so there is no change really. Whether a build fix makes Guillaume a maintainer or not is debatable, therefore I asked above. Meanwhile Martin Pluskal has taken some pity to further clean it up.
