What are the satsolver flags that zypper sets during dist-upgrade ? I am getting confused between solver->distupgrade and solver->updatesystem
updatesystem is set by 'zypper up'. It tells the solver that you want to update all packages to the newest versions. For a dist-upgrade, you need to set solv->distupgrade = 1; solv->updatesystem = 1; solv->allowdowngrade = 1; solv->allowarchchange = 1; solv->allowvendorchange = 1; solv->dosplitprovides = 1; Cheers, Michael. -- Michael Schroeder mls@suse.de SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF Markus Rex, HRB 16746 AG Nuernberg main(_){while(_=~getchar())putchar(~_-1/(~(_|32)/13*2-11)*13);} -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: zypp-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: zypp-devel+help@opensuse.org
