Why ZYpp doesn't allows to install both i586 and x86-64 versions of a package at the same time?

Well, smart is simply wrong here. SuSE uses -32bit packages to implement mixed architecture, whereas RedHat installs both i586 and x86_64. Please check the complains on the RedHat/Fedora lists to see why we're doing it different. ;-) Please create a "freealut-32bit" package. It's just adding a "baselibs.conf" file with a single line "freealut" to the package sources.
