If not the reason for the blank areas may be that the video has a different ration than the display. Displays are mostly 4:3 while some movies have a wider screen. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<- The blank area has a blue color; It differs from the *black* coloured area inside the movie itself. ->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> [...] Does this also happen when you display on a monitor? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<- With monitor, there is no problem at all; Even "SWCursor" option is not needed. My movies are usually in standard VCD size (I think 320x200 at 30Hz or 320x240 at 25Hz). ->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cheers, Egbert. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<- Again, Thank you very much for your help and information.
