I was referred here for a bug in the XFree86 4.3 system running on top of Suse 8.1 XFree86 4.3 was installed using the suse-provided packages (as found somewhere on the suse support pages). The bug was traced down to X: relocation error: /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libfreetype.so: undefined symbol: FT_Has_PS_Glyph_NamesX: relocation error: /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libfreetype.so: undefined symbol: FT_Has_PS_Glyph_Names I guess all information will be available for a while at http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=761 if not, I can repeat the symptoms and log files here.
