Hi, I did not have chance to scan the archives yet, so please forgive me, if this has been discussed before already. I just upgraded to 9.2 and am now running X 6.8.1, as it was installed from the CDs. Currently I am experiencing the following problem: If I press the ALT GR key and e.g. the | (aka <) I get a space inserted in front of the | (as you can see here). Now most of the time this is not a problem in shell, but editing is quite bothersome. I tried to find out what is happening with xev and I can see, that pressing either the ALT GR key or the space both generate two keypress events, the ALT_GR an ISO_Level3_Shift, followed by a space. The space key does it the other way round. And there are two keyrelease events for both of the keys. Is there a newer version of the X server, which solves this problem or what else can I do? The problem did not exist in the Xfree 86 version of the X server. Thanks in advance Dieter Wörz
