No, no, Downloads always goes to the standard download page. Use the in-text 'current CVS driver' link.
Okay, I've done so. Question though. The downloaded file is radeon_drv.o.gz, whereas the directory indicated in the bug report contains radeon_drv.so. Is this supposed to be a shared driver? Should I rename the gunzipped radeon_drv.o to radeon_drv.so?
Oh, you already installed the current 10.1 alpha? Tough. The .o files only works with the old loader of 10.0
I returned my system to the original 10.0 rpms, ran an online update and installed the radeon_drv.o driver. No difference.
I just verified with the according guys here, they ask that you should install alpha3 as soon as it is out (as alpha2 has a number of issues). If the issue persists, please open a bug report.
Any idea when alpha 3 will be out? Where would I locate it? -- Until later, Geoffrey
