thanks. now it works!
but the touchpad-scrollareas not anymore... :-( and also the "click" feature of the touchpad doesn't work anymore.
on a dell precision m6300 notebook, the scroll-areas at the right and bottom sides of the touchpad don't work anymore after the update. and the "tapping" or "clicking" on the touchpad also doesn't work anymore.
it works again by adding these new settings to xorg.conf: Option "VertEdgeScroll" "1" Option "HorizEdgeScroll" "1" Option "FastTaps" "1"
and by deleting (or commenting out) this setting: #Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"
have the defaults of these settings changed to "switched off"?
Thanks for the input. These issues should be fixed until early next week.
xorg-x11-driver-input.changes [...] - xf86-input-synaptics-settings.diff * enables tapping * enables vertical scrolling * fixed typo (vertScrollDelta <--> horizScrollDelta)
thanks. i am installing todays update right now. but this time, xorg-x11-libxcb seems broken. it doesn't supply libxcb-xlib.so.0 any more, but which is needed by x11-input-wacom-tools.
This should be fixed soon. Do not update libxcb/libX11 on 11.1. It will break any X application. :-(
ok, i was able to again upgrade everything BUT libxcb/libX11 from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.1 no it seems to work again. is it known WHEN it is safe to upgrade libxcb/libX11 from above repo? -- einen schönen Tag noch DI Rainer Klier Und bitte keine TOFU-Mails (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOFU) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-xorg+help@opensuse.org
