Hi there,
I recently updated my systems with the latest packages from the X11:xfce repo in OBS. This pulled in a lot new packages, all of which were related with the Noto fonts.
It appears that the xfce4-settings-branding-openSUSE package now
Requires: noto-sans-cjk-fonts
To be honest, I don't actually need any of the CJK fonts at all; if so, I'd install them. Since they are required and not recommended, it's not actually possible to only install them when needed and (b)lock them otherwise.
The idea behind this change was to have proper rendering of Chinese, Japanese, Korean fonts OOTB after someone requested. I use those fonts myself and did not think it would be a big deal making them a requirement.
Can the Requires: be changed into a Recommends: please?
