Hi,
I am trying to build a minimal xfce setup and things are mostly working. I am using lightdm and on the login screen the icons in the upper right hand corner are missing.
Anyone have any idea which package provides the icons.
That depends, these are themed icons and the theme is configured in the /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf. By default everything should be fine, the /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf delivered by lightdm-gtk-greeter-branding-openSUSE is configured to use Adwaita as the icon theme and has a dependency on gtk3-metatheme-adwaita. If you want your own branding you need to create a lightdm-gtk-greeter-branding-XXX package and set theme-name or icon-theme-name in /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf accordingly, any icon theme providing the following icons should work: avatar-default document-properties preferences-desktop-accessibility preferences-desktop-locale system-shutdown view-refresh Have you looked at the rescue live CD? It is probably a nice model for a minimal Xfce desktop setup. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-xfce+owner@opensuse.org
