Maybe that indirect way to financially support a part of the openSUSE project should be presented a bit less 'subtly'?
Again in other words: 1) I presume at least a bit of the money payed for the boxed version will find its way to Novell. 2) I further presume that Novell and her German daughter SuSE would at least allow their staff to invest a bit time in the openSUSE project. 3) My third presumption is that these people from 2) will have an advantage from 1) - at least indirectly in improving the security of their jobs. So if my presumptions would be truth or at least not totally false: I would support "Buy openSUSE link on software.o.o ?" Link to http://wiki.opensuse.org/Buy_openSUSE or a page like it on http://software.openoffice.org.

Personally I do not think that a link to the boxed version would be conflicting with that planned foundation and any other button that would be be there in the future - but I may be false in that educated guess, too, as a real conclusion would depend on more than 1)-3) [system of law (US, DE, EU, ...), planned construction, running contracts, marketing plan for the future, ...] Greetings pistazienfresser P.S.: Would a page about that foundation at least get a place in the namespaces Main or Portal of this wiki - unlike - example given - the Bugzilla now? -- - openSUSE profile: https://users.opensuse.org/show/pistazienfresser -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
