I know you are all busy :-), but the en wiki is really cluttered by translations. Given the number of country in the world, this could be for a long time, so it is more and more urgent to setup a translation wiki as was suggested sometime ago.
on this wiki one should find the mandatory pages (protected) and could write his [[LOC-pages]].
I don't see the need for the mandatory pages to be on there in English. Don't store the same info in two places if you don't need to. (except backups). The greatest benefit would be if we can get rid of the Template:Translations, and us an Interwiki link to "temporary translations". Perhaps we can modify the interwiki functionalty so that you can overide the default and give it a language. eg: [[tmp:This page]] woudl create an interwiki link, but because many languages woudl be on the temp site on one English page you could have [[tmp:EL-This page]] [[tmp:OH-This page]] These would all appear as Intewiki links but all labelled the same. Maybe we could extend so that the Interwiki label can be set like [[tmp:EL-This page|Elfish]] [[tmp:OG-This page|Ogerish]] And appear in the list of languages. I am just thinking out aloud, which isn't always the best way to write email....
