[opensuse-web] bugzilla saved search editing
User preferences has saved searches: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=saved-searches When I click on it, then for a listed search I click on "edit": https://bugzilla.novell.com/query.cgi?chfieldto=Now&email1=mrmazda%40ij.net&emailcc1=1&emailtype1=exact&known_name=all%20my%20bugs&order=bugs.bug_id&query_format=advanced&query_type=advanced&votes=1&known_name=My%20CC%2FVoted That click opens the query. I make the necessary change, but there is nothing apparent to click on to save the change instead of running the query. Most of my saved searchs are invalid, because the incorporate the email address current at the time they were created, not the currently valid Bugzilla address. Edit the search parameters as needed. Then run the search. At the bottom of the search result page, there's a "-> Save" button and an input field for the search name next to it (after using "edit search", it should default to the name of the search you edited). Just click the "-> Save" button. Regards, Christian Boltz -- Eine Katze hat einen Schwanz mehr als keine Katze. Keine Katze hat zwei Schwänze, also hat eine Katze drei Schwänze. Correct. If the saved search is owned by you, you can edit the saved search directly and overwrite the search. If the saved search is not owned by you and you give it the same name, it will create another saved search with that name with you as the owner, leaving the original saved search intact. To have a shared saved search change, it would have to be done by the saved search owner. I hope I didn't make things more confusing. That is not what was happening. One of my 6 saved search titles is "all my bugs", which is all bugs I ever filed regardless of disposition or status. When I clicked on the edit link of a different one named "My CC/Voted", fixed its email address, ran it, the report title was "all my bugs", with "all my bugs" pre-filled in the save as box at the bottom. The resulting report content was not all my bugs, but my cc/voted. Changing the pre-fill to what it should have said fixed it.
Just click the "-> Save" button. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation)
