[opensuse] switching kernels in grub2
Hi everyone I needed to test some cifs stuff so I installed a client with the 3.6 kernel from factory using a Yast ymp. Is it possible to have a choice of kernels at boot like we had with the 12.1 grub? If not, how can I switch back to 3.4? Hi That was the line I was missing. Presumably, to get the correspondin devel package for the kernels I would need: multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel,kernel-devel) and assume it will pick the right one when needed? Use only, as suggested: multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) Keyword "kernel" covers any package that has word kernel as a substring in its name, like "kernel-devel". -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
