Hi Chris, I don't have 8.1 as yet but suggest you have a look at the messages in /var/log/cups These should tell you what is going wrong. I suggest you look at the /etc/cupsd.conf as this controls access to the printers from other workstations. Also it may be useful increasing the debug level in /etc/cupsd.conf to sort out the problem. Be aware if you set the debug level to the highest level you will probably be swamped with messages. Regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------
