[opensuse] Mac OS X and openSUSE
Guys. I am trying to set up my mac to login my openSUSE remotely via X, now I have found a nice place about login via Terminal.app then issuing this commands /usr/X11R6/bin/X -query 192.168.0.1 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xquartz :1 -query 192.168.0.1 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xnest :1 -geometry 1280x860 -query 192.168.0.1 But when I issue those from the mac, the keyboard is missed up. But if I do this ssh -X 192.168.0.1 Xnest :1 -geometry 1280x810 -query localhost It works. What can I do to get it work on the mac? I do not run all these commands. I just start a terminal from Finder, and run the ssh command. This starts X and all the rest. The keyboard works fine. I have a Swedish keyboard and all the keys work as expected. Any reason you do not just start a terminal? -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
