I have a reverted to a stock install of SuSE 6.3, so I have nothing installed except what comes on the SuSE CD's.
I am trying to use amanda (with dump) to backup my server. Everything worked perfectly until I started "atalk" on the server.
"dump" can backup everything except the single directory that is exported by the AppleTalk server. It does occasionally cough up an error message that indicates it is some type of memory/stack allocation problem.
Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction?
Upgrade your dump. I've had terrible problems with dump coming from 6.3 CDs. -Kastus
