[opensuse] Long copying time
I'm using 11.3 on an E-Machine. I Have formatted a Trekstore external disk with FAT32. Now I'm copying another external disk to the Trekstore and this 129 Gb wil last more than 30 hours. Andre, I seem to be able to get 1 Gig transfer rate per minute from my internal harddrive to an external USB 2.0 harddrive. In my experience, yes - copying from one USB drive to another is going to be very slow. You may well get much better performance by copying the entire source drive to an internal drive then from there to the final destination. Dx -- " '... but there is so much else behind what I say.
