[opensuse] Leap: Kim setup and jpg prperties
Hello, I have too more problems... Fresh leap, with Packman. 1) I try to install "Kim" (Kde Image Management) that allows to resize an image (among other things). Previously installing Kim installed also usefull links in the context menu for jpg, for example. On my Leap, this context was not installed, I only get a lot of kim sub modules, but don't know how I an use them 2) I tried to manually add one of the modules to the context menu, using right clic / properties. This added correctly, but proved to be unusable as is... and I can't remove it! each time I try to remove this item from the context menu, the change is reverted! where is stored this thing, where I could fix it by hand? thanks jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

there was a file in .local/share/applications kim_xxx.desktop that caused the problem. removed now jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

working, I was looking at the install script of kim. It asks to have .desktops in /usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ and copy them there... they do not show in Dolphin copying them in /home/jdd/.kde4/share/kde4/services/ or even in /home/jdd/.kde4/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ do not work neither suggested by: kde4-config --path services /home/jdd/.kde4/share/kde4/services/:/usr/share/kde4/services/ I fail to found ideas thanks jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

location changed in plasma5, only kde:extra repo fixed this, not Packman one https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=960859 jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
