X-) You probably have another window manager active: kill it. Probably it will be metacity. Or it could be the file manager, probably Nautilus. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFEad8VtTMYHG2NR9URAqOmAJ9ZCw0y0Th79a/dXaTVwvzlJeTQ5ACfTo0i JNXBDqxb4bfgHJKOyPX07qk= =Mtdn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Hi Carlos,
Do you know how can I prevent the gnome desktop to load after a reboot..
As it is now even after a reboot I still have the Gnome running that change all my KDE icons... for now here is the a list of applications that I think belongs to
Gnome:
- bonobo-activated
- gconf-2
- gnome-vfs-deamon
- gnome-window-decoration (I think this one is needed for Compiz)
Which one in this list I can kill and how do I prevent it from restarting after reboot.
Thanks for your help.
