I have read various complaints about the currently available 10.1, some of which give me pause. Is there likely to be modifications to meet these complaints in the boxed set? Or is the boxed set essentially the same as what is available now (plus some proprietary software)? -- Best regards, Dennis J. Dennis, The boxed set DVD (DVD9) always contains more programs than does the 5 CD set you can download. Approximately 1.5-2GB more I believe. I remember reading something about it on the OpenSuse list. Plus you get both the 32-bit & 64-bit binaries. The only big problems I've noticed is waiting for the update repositories to come available, which they now are and should be completely ready by the time you get your package. I'm not sure about this new updater tool either. It hasn't proved to be a good match to the old susewatcher setup, IMO. Although, one very nice thing it does is look at all the installation sources you add to alert you to those as well. It seems slower and much more cpu intensive also. Overall, I give 10.1 a big thumbs up! Installation was fast, the whole system is faster and things just seem to work better. As always, you're going to find a few quirks or things you don't like, but you're going to like it! regards, Lee -- -- KMail v1.9.1 -- KDE v3.5 -- SuSE Linux v10.1 -- Registered Linux User #225206 "Life is like a cigarette, smoke it to the butt!"
