[opensuse] OTN page kills firefox?
Hi, I needed to download de oracle instanclient packages from Oracle Technology Network (http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/linu...) and after authenticating the firefox window just dissapears! I'm having this issue with Opensuse 10.2 x86_64 + Firefox v2.0.0.2pre but works fine from another pc at the office running Windows XP + Firefox 2.0.0.2, anybody seen this? Very wierd. Mine - 10.1, FF 2.0.0.2 - didn't crash but it DID launch Mplayer to handle the file. I was able to right-click and download. Why - do you suppose - MPlayer would try to handle a .rpm file? Konqueror here runs into an 'cookie' loop...it never ends asking me if I want to accept or reject or whatever. Just tried konqueror and works... last night it just said the address wasn't correct, even refused to connect to google, although i was connected trough gprs (gsm phone as a modem). Tried again with firefox on my laptop at the office an it crashed again, just noticed it doesn't happen with zip files, only with the rpm ones.
