Start "kcontroledit", which complains of not being able to read /home/cer/.config/menus/applications-kmenu. Shows empty. Create a new submenu and item, save, and exit. All the default items, plus new one, re-appear on the control center. (I got a good hint from David in the Spanish list) - -- Cheers, Carlos E. I haven't the foggiest idea. :-/ It's just a bad spell. You pronounce the right incantation and it dissolves. Don't try to understand it. Seems linux is going that way... - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Hmmm $HOME/config/menus/ that's a new one for me. I have SUSE 10.0 and I have nothing under .config. I guess that started in SUSE 10.1 ? Jorge -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
