Ok, so I'm not the only one forgetting to delete extraneous quoted material... Anyway, I got my SuSE 8.0, plugged in the DVD and sat there staring at it, while it stared dumbly back at me. No loading. I don't believe I've ever seen data (files) from a DVD. The drive works just fine as a CD drive, though. In fact, I used that drive to install SuSE 8 from the CDs. Is your purpose, in re-iterating that you had no problems, to tell us that firmware version 0122 is the one to have? Does that number indeed represent the F/W revision? /kevin
