A-ha !! You seem to be running the 1.22 firmware, which is allegedly the one that fixes the issues with these drives. I think the original firmware was 1.07, and 1.09 is also available. This is good news. Of course now I'm curious as to the differences between the US and Euro versions of the 1.22 firmware, other than Region numbering. I had heard rumours that one firmware version actually made the drive region free, but haven't been able to find any confirmation of that. I think Japan also has its own version of the firmware, which I saw on their .jp website when I pulled down the W2K update utility. Bye for now, Stuart.
